Ours is the only girls ’ college in the district of Dakshin Dinajpur. We have a broader vision to illuminate our students in the direction of higher education so that they me be able to fight ignorance, superstitions, illiteracy and poverty in the villages and society they represent.
Our specific vision is to educate and train the students to be independent, efficient, empathetic and socially responsible individuals.
Our college falls under one f the semi urban belts of North Bengal and most of our students come from marginal and farming households and they may be perhaps the first generation students. Our mission is to offer courses to the students for enhancing professionalism, humanism and social responsibility through quality education.
We aim to generate enough awareness among the students the sense of competence and creativity to meet the challenges in all their future endeavors thereby to inculcate values of discipline, hard-work, team-spirit, scientific tempers and to develop critical thinkers.
To involve in innovative activities in teaching and learning and equip ourselves to meet the State and National Goals in terms of furtherance and strengthening Higher Education at Under Graduate Level. We endeavor to stretch the intellectual and creative capacity of the youth and to empower them to assume leadership and market acceptability.
To impart quality education to the students, make them able to face examinations of all types and also to motivate them for further education. And to strive for excellence.
To promote and preserve our cultural heritage, human rights, moral values and environmental ethics among the students.
To promote education that would be liberal and progressive which contributes to the new dimensions of the education..
